The Verdi News module allows the display of News items on the site.

The News List includes details such as News Title, Release Date, News Summary and a link to further information. The Further Information link then shows the actual News item.

News items can be categorised and can be searched and sorted by various criteria.

News teasers can be displayed on other pages throughout the site. News teasers provide a brief categorised summary of selected news articles, with a link to more information. Upon clicking the link, the user is taken to wherever the main news article is displayed.

The News module also includes a New Ticker display which shows a vertical scrolling ticker highlighting news summaries, each with a link to the main article.
